When switching to HWA, layers go missing or invisible? I have 6 layers,..in standard run time all layers are showing. When I switch to HWA Layer 2 and 4 don't show up! Anyone have any suggestions?
Thank you....

Can you reproduce this or just in this one file?
It's just in this file,.but I haven't tried in another Jeff. Would you like me to send it to you?
Anything Clickteam or anyone? Here is a stripped down version of the game. It is in "Standard" Run-Time mode. Switch it to HWA D3D-9 and # 2 and 4 Layers Disappear,...(just certain backdrops in those layers). I even made the backdrops Active objects and it still happens?? This was tested on 3 XP machines just to make sure. I didn't test this on a windows 7 machine. Doesn't matter about that really as if this can't run on XP machines what's the sense? I've tried every setting and have spent days trying to figure out what the issue is and can't come up with any solution. Thank you and I hope we can figure this out as I want to run this in HWA so I can use shaders. Sorry I couldn't attach it. It's 1.2 megs!

Hmmm its working fine here on my Windows Vista machine.
I don't have access to an XP or a 7 computer at the moment.
Did you check and make sure the graphics cards on the XP machines were all up to date with their drivers?
Jeff,.I was thinking that but 3 different XP machines? Is that possible!?
EDIT:
Well,.I just check my drivers and that's not the issue. They are up to date.
I guess worse comes to worse I will have to stick to the standard Run-Time. I don't want to,.but what else can I do here?! Disappointing....
I even went as far as checking it with another XP machine and same thing happens? This has got to be a bug in MMF I would say. My Layers are not unusual in any way and it should work in HWA,..no!?. Why would only certain backdrops in layer 2 and 4 disappear in HWA? This is very important that I get this to work in HWA because I need to use shaders in the game.
Can the Clickteam look at the file above and let me know what is going on please. Or here is the file:

As I said above it is working in Vista (and I would assume its going to work in 7)
Can you find someone local with a Vista or 7 machine so you can test? Perhaps Windows XP is just too old to support the HWA features?
I would test but I don't have an XP machine here.
Can you reproduce this in a new file on the XP machines?
Jeff this is the weirdest thing I have ever encountered with MMF. It has something to do with the backdrop used in layer 2 and 4. Just the mountains backdrop in layer 2 and the snow backdrop in layer 4. I tested in a new file and it works using different backdrops. Now when I import the mountains backdrop into the new file,.it disappears!?? same with the snow backdrop!?? Do you think it's a corrupt backdrop or something with MMF..?? They are just standard backdrops that I made!!?
EDIT: Still having issues....
EDIT again: I'm going to stick with Standard Run Time on this one... I give up!
Not to keep going on with this,.but it works perfect in Windows 7 in HWA run time. What the heck?? I guess I could put the game out in either a W7 HWA version and an XP Standard version. Still wish I knew the reason why it won't work in XP in HWA mode.
