Loosing Mouse?

"I am working on my Ice Breakers and adding in the snowboards and and snow ball. Every time I go to text the window, I loose my mouse.. I've gone back over the lesson a few times and can't see that I've done anything wrong or anything I've missed."

What is meant by the phrases "text window" and "lose my mouse"?

I think he's quoting what one of his testers/users/etc. said, so he might not know either. EDIT: He's quoting one of his students.

If you have an object set as mouse movement it will hide your mouse cursor automatically.
Not sure if that's the problem but its a common issue and annoying
