Swf bigger and bigger over the changes

I created a puzzle game.

I can change the parts in order to be able to create several different games from the same source.
The problem is that my swf is bigger and bigger.
As if my source file would remember all the puzzle pieces of old puzzles.

Can anyone help me? How to prevent a swf is increasingly cumbersome over the changes?
