    Semitransparence in Flash does not work for me.
    Specifically what happens in my Flash application when i fade a semitransparent Object from 255 to 0 is:
    - The Object is not vissible at all (!?)
    - The application completly disregards certain totally unrelated Events ( like an event wich repositions particles due to wind power stops working for no reason, and an Event that should trigger when an Object rotates past a certain Angle never triggers ).

    Do you have an example of how to get semitransparency working for Flash?
    Do i need to use the old 128 system instead of the new 255?

    King_Cool use the 128 system. Check out the group in the project called "Smoke From Cannon Ball Impact Fade Away" I used the 128 system on that object. See if it works in Flash. It's in dropbox.
