640x480 seems to be standard, and most flash sites will not accept anything larger than 800x600.

There is no concrete answer for that question.

Well, i imaging there to be some sort of standard.

For Android, WindowsPhone, iOS build ( modile devices ) i guess the file size is significant.
But maybe it doesnt matter that much for Flash Applications?

So, if I'm understanding this correctly,..you can't can't have a scrolling game in flash that is more than 800x600? I''ve seen plenty of games that have larger frame sizes than 800x600!? Am I missing something or is that just the initial frame size? I also read in a post on this site that under 50 megs for flash!?,but not 100% sure of this.

Try to keep it under 7MB and definitely under 20MB unless you have a really serious flash game. Some websites won't take anything larger than that. Websites aren't set up to display larger than 800X600 games for the most part, so you should try to avoid that.

Hiredpandagames. Do you have reference for this please? This is so King_Cool and myself will know next time asks. I still do not think there is a standard. 0mb to 20mb is a lot of standard.

    Thanks,

    Marv

Still seems that the file size is all over the place, from under 1mb to 10mb. Did I miss something?
