Unhappy [REQUEST] - Active Picture + Counter Options

    Hi,

I think a lot of developers agree with me that it would be great to have the following simple options in the named extensions, allowing us to have great graphics for the counters:
    - Active Picture, resize without resampling the graphic

    - Counter, an option to integrate our own graphic instead of the integrated gradient

Is it possible to integrate these, in my opinion simple but very useful options, into the named extensions?

Or does someone know a workaround.

I am a bit stucked because I cannot find a solution: I made my own graphic for an energy bar and a score bar which also have their own background.

Hope that someone can help me out.

Doesn't the "Picture resize" property of the active picture object work for you?

You can use an Active System Object to store an image and then have the box resize as you change it's alterable value for example. Makes a graphical energy bar.

    Thanks for replying Andos,

I tried the active system object, but it only works in one direction from left to right.
I need two energy bars in my project, one from left to right and one from right to left
Couldn't find out how to do this with the active system object.

I send you an example file later.

Is there a reason you don't use an active object as the bar you scale? Works great for me and allows all manner of customization.

virtualrom - You could use an Active Picture for the bar and load an image at start of the frame. Use a Backdrop for your empty bar. Then use offset X or Y to display the desired amount of bar. Unfortunately wrap is always on in iOS (at least last time I checked) and would need to be turned off for this to work - any chance of a fix Andos?

Finally got it working with the Active System Object.
I'm very happy now and hope to have the app finished in about a month.

I will post some free codes when it's ready.

    Thanks for all your help.
