Would it be possible to retrieve a unique Device ID?

I edited the first post before I read your reply, DistantJ. I couldn't find anything like this in the iOS object. My server needs to be able to tell one user from another. An alternative for me is to create a random value in an INI file, but I guess that wouldn't work if the user reinstall / update the game.

Just an FYI, Apple is discouraging people from tracking users by their UDID these days. It hasn't been said specifically, but the thinking is that they will do away with them at some point in the future. Most companies that track users (including the one I work for) have their own system of user ID's to avoid this.

Thanks for the info. I guess an INI with a random value is the way to go then.

Yeah I've read that apps have been rejected for finding too much about the device.
