    Shaders on iOS?

    According to Epic Games iPad 2 supports DirectX 9 so it means some possibility for HWA?

    Maybe I got it wrong but I think that the statement means "the iPad 2 has the same capabilities of a device that runs DirectX 9" not that the iPad 2 runs DirectX 9.

    It would be a bit surprising to see an Apple device being shipped with a Microsoft technology...

    I was also surprised however anaconda proofs that OpenGL acceleration is not bad at all.

    OpenGL is as good as DirectX.

    - Wanna make a Windows only game? Use DirectX.

    - Not sure if your game will run only on Windows or you are pretty sure that it will be multplatform? Use OpenGL.
