    Full Screen w/o Resolution Change?

I know MMF2 isn't really all that great when it comes to things like zooming and screen resolution, but does anybody know if there is, in fact, a way to make your game full-screen but not stretch to fit the entire frame?
By this I mean something like you can do in Flash. Right now I know I can make the screen re-size to fit the window size, but it stretches the application which looks VERY ugly. It would be nicer if it had the same perimeters (E.G. 640x480) but still became larger upon full-screen.

    Thanks.

If you set your app size to 640x480 or whatever and switch to fullscreen with alt+enter it should resize without stretching. I assume you're on a widescreen monitor, in which case there should be an option on your monitor to keep aspect. Otherwise you can use something like the Window Control object to resize at runtime, if that's what you need.

Thanks for the reply, but what I'm trying to do is make it so any player clicking the Maximize button just goes full-screen but keeps the resolution. Pretty much, it's in between what happens when you re-size to fit the application and when you go full-screen by default (which simply creates a large white or other colored border around the screen). It would have the border still but it would get bigger diagonally and keep the same good looking resolution. Something like in Super Smash Flash 2 I guess?

Are you looking to keep the play area the exact same size but fill the screen with empty space? To do that, simply uncheck "Heading when maximized" under the application's properties and it should appear somewhat like fullscreen when the user maximizes the window.

Or are you looking to stretch the play area but keep the same aspect ratio?

Sorry for my lack of knowledge on the subject, but I believe I am try to keep the same aspect ration while expanding the play area. That sounds about right, but check off that option doesn't seem to do anything. I toyed around with it a bit more and realized that that option only works when you're in Resolution Mode, not when you "re-size display to fit window size". Pretty much I'm trying to find a way to go full-screen with the header (not changing your monitors resolution) and make it so the screen only extends diagonally so that it doesn't look stretched too much.

You should take a look into UltimateWalrus's Ultimate FullScreen extension, as I believe this is exactly what he created it for.
