I know about the first one, but not the second.

For the first one, use the "special object" action "Send menu command". Then select the full-screen option.

The Window Control object can maximize and minimize your window. In the game properties, uncheck Heading Whem Maximized. You will probably want to hide the menu when maximized also, use the Window Control object to check and then in the special conditions there is an action to hide/show the menu.

What? Triggering the Menu is a very unintuitive method, since you can remove the menu option and break everything. Just use the Action under the Storyboard Object->Screen->Full Screen Mode

I didn't know about that way of doing it... Guess we learn something every day, huh? I don't usually make my games go into fullscreen, and when I do, I don't use the built-in fullscreen, either. I maximize the game, and position the interface based on the screen size.

Just never ever use full screen on start ever. By all means have it as a menu option, but don't make it automatic. People with multiple monitors will hate you forever if you do.
