Best way to handle switching fullscreen resolutions?

I'm in need of a simple way to swap from 1280x1024 to 1280x720!

I can't figure out how to resize the actual displayed part of the frame between the two sizes. I can change the screen resolution and it still shows the 1280x1024 frame, just squished. And I can have it resize the frame but that changes the whole frame size...

Maybe I'm overlooking something simple. Any help, guys?

It's one of MMF2's downfalls that switching between resolutions is not very simple at all.

Your best bet is to use Ultimate Walrus' Full Screen Extension: http://ultimatewalrus.com/mmf.php

The examples included should give you a good idea of how to use it.
