Unhappy Sound ON/OFF in all application

Hello again my friends...I have a problem to set sound (volume) ON or OFF in my app.

Well....I got it working without problem in a single frame.....my app have a button icon like in ANGRY BIRDS....when I click it then the sounds got off and the animation of this icon change to same but with a red cross....

but the problem is: If I set the sound OFF in the frame, when I go to next frame the sounds it's ON again and I need to set OFF in this frame too...I've tried to use global value....but I dont know how, its not working....

So I got it working too using INI file...I save the value in first frame if I click in the icon volume....then in next frame I load the value from INI....this works...but just the volume, the animation of the icon still normal, it not start with red cross...

For example: in frame one I clicked in volume icon that changed the sound to OFF and animation with red cross.....when I go to frame two, the sounds its OFF but the animation of the icon in this frame starts normal, it should start with the red cross too.....

Well...I don't know if the flags condition is changing the icon to normal..I just dont know what is the problem..

How you do to set sound OFF in all application? there's a another way to do this?

    THANK YOU AGAIN MY FRIENDS

Use a Global Value called GV_Volume_
Let this dictate the master volume at 'Start OF Frame' in all of your levels

No Problem. We are here to help. Enjoy and happy coding!

    EDIT:
One bug I found in my code for this. I have "Start of frame" (Play sample Dinosaur World 0 times)
Replace "Start of Frame" with "Dinosaur World is not Playing" If you don't and keep going back and forth from frame one to two and back again, it will trigger the sound again and again making it a mess of sound on sound. If you need the new version I will up load it, but it's a simple fix if you do it yourself by replacing that one line.

I'm keep working, but I confess I'm a little afraid about performance of my iOS project because it is a tourist information application, it has a significant amount of large images (around 600x600 in iPad project) in each frame (around 10 images).....but as it is a static application, with no major movements and events in the frame, so make me fell a little peaceful...on the other hand, have a large number of frames (around 50)....so..well, I'm just keep working

I have problems with setting main volume on and off in Flash applications. I dont know if its a bug or what, but it seems to cause big problems when a sounds volume is adjusted and in certain circumstances.
I have an example here (I remade Klik-its). There is a music track playing, you can mute and unmute and there is also an object shooting with a laser sound every second that is set to volume at 50. This works fine in Flash. BUT I also have another event that trigger this same event with the laser when the player presses the Spacebar. Try this out when the game is supposed to have its main volume at 0, its not pretty.
Aside from the mfa, Here is a direct link to the swf I uploaded: http://www.strandedgames.com/bsound.html

You have to set the volume in the same event as you play the Sample, like this:

    Uppon pressing SPACEBAR
    - Play Sample LASER
    - Set volume of Sample Laser to GV_Volume_

NOTE: When you set a Samples Volume, if there are more than one instance of the Sample playing, only the first instance found will change volume.
