Yeah, I use PNG-8 just when the image dont have transparency, because the transparency of PNG-8 it's just horrible, it shows some white pixels around the image

Sounds like you have carried over the alpha mask from the .png images. The color depth is much less significant then the alphas.

sorry...I did not understand you, can you try to explain different? Well....I dont know why, for example, I create a vector icon in adobe illustrator....when I export in PNG-8, around the icon have some white pixels...I just dont know why because I worked with a clean and perfect vector object in Illustrator

paobrasil, I export PNGs from Adobe Illustrator CS3 and get no horrible white pixels/antialiasing. If I "Save for web" I'll always get the white outline, regardless of the antialiasing setting. However, if I simply use "Export" from the file menu, I get a much better result exporting a PNG with antialiasing enabled. I get no white pixels on the edge at all if I disable antialiasing this way, too.

Wow, an 2048 x 2048 Active Object? This makes me feel MUCH better about having slightly large pixel art. :P
