    Flash vs. Java vs. Vitalize

What is the best path for putting a MFD 2 application into a web page? I'm just starting out. What are the differences between the options?

    Thanks.

Flash: Everyone mostly has access to Flash, and most PCs come with some version preinstalled into the browser already. Flash is compatible with later mobile devices such as Android Devices and Tablets. (But not iOS.) Flash runs on most anything that can run some version of Flash. (PC/Apple Mac/Linux.). But, Flash is a special program/plugin they need to download if they don't have it (but they SHOULD by now, as I said, it mostly comes readied installed on most systems nowadays.) This is what I recommend.

Java: Most everyone has Java on their system nowadays too. It'll run on a variety of platforms such as Windows/Mac/Linux, as Java is a non-platform specific codebase. (I'm not sure about it's compatibility with mobile devices, etc.) But the main issue is that on most browsers, it's required to 'allow' content before it'll run when it's Java based on most browsers default security settings...at least on windows. In other words, folks might not even see your game/program because they don't wanna take the chance to allow the Java-code/Applet to run, in the possibility it may be a virus or malicious code. But if you don't have access to the Flash Exporter, this is probably your best bet.

Vitalize: Vitalize, as far as I know, is Windows-based only. It does not come standard on any computers or browsers and is only desktop based. Folks need to go out of their way to install the Vitalize plugin for their browser, in a roundabout way usually. Vitalize, to me, feels like a legacy-based plugin---it's purpose (Getting games online.) seems more fulfilled nowadays, by the SWF Exporter, the Java Runtime and soon, the HTML 5 Exporter when it's done and released. I would not recommend Vitalize unless the SWF or Java based Options are completely off the table for you.

Android will soon loose it's Flash support so we need to get the Android exporter released to be able to support Android users in the future.
