    My Application size is nuts!

    Hi
Ive been working on a MMF2 project for some time now.
The filesize was about 7 000 KB which was good.

I recently inserted an effect just to test it ( 120 Frame Active Object with Alpha Chanells ).
This bounced the application size up to 70 000 KB.

I then deleted the effect Active Object and saved the Application.
The application showed a size of 70 000 MB.
I doubble checked for any 'Create Object Actions', and checked the Object List from the Appplication Toolbar to see if the Object was still present, it was not.
    I restartedmy computer.
The application still showed a size of 70 000 MB.

    What gives!?
Why is my Apploication still 70 000 MB?
If i save the Application as a new version however, the app size goes down.

Your file got corrupted. and this could be due a faulty hard drive, I would run a test just to be sure.

It could be a Windows Explorer bug. I saw this once where my game files were huge, and doubled every time I refreshed the file list (the files themselves weren't really increasing in size.)

Jeez man, before any testing, back up your work to an external drive and burn it on a CD too. You don't want to be poking around and testing a hard drive before doing so. If the hard drive decides to go bad, you will be killing yourself with all the work that has been done on the game. Maybe try to save the game with a new name and see if that cures it. I will test it when you send it to me and see if it shows up at 70mb on my PC.

    Yeah i do have backups.

As i said, when i save Application.mfa as Application02.mfa the file size ( in explorer ) return to the correct/ previous size.

My money is on that this has to do with Explorer.
I think this is an Explorer issue, its in the lists view under the Size Tab next to the .mfa in Explorer that the sixe reads 70 000 MB.
If i view the files properties the size displays about 7000 MB wich is more correct

    ...
Im beginning to notice some other odditys now.
-I had 1 original Application "ApplicationA".
-ApplicationA had 2 unessesary Frames in the Storyboard Editor ( nothing much was going on in these Frames ).
-I deleted the 2 unessesary levels, and saved the Application as "ApplicationB"

Now when i go to the Applicaion files properties, it says ApplicationB is about 500 MB bigger than ApplicationA...?

    ...
My machine is not an old machine, and i try to keep it as clean as possible and only use it for work. Using Windows 7
