iOS Text Editor

Has anyone seen the Byrd Text Editor? It's quite amazing! So when I was looking at it one day, I thought is it possible to make a kind-of wireless super text editor for iOS using MMF? My dad always complains he can't a good free one, so I was curious, can it be done?

The obstacles I found are:

- No color changing

- As far as I know, no wireless prinitng

- Saving will be minimal

- But can it be done?

I'm trying to make something like that now, but if anyone has anything useful to input, please do so!

Yes it can be done, but unless you want it to suck you should read up on and use Rich Text Format so you don't end up with a proprietary locked format.

Jacob - I don't think the Rich Text Object has been converted for iOS yet?

Well no, but it's a basic format that shouldn't be hard to write.

No, I mean maybe combined with the iOS multiple line editbox, something basic could be created, maybe add a cool background or two.

By no, I agree with Jacob, it hasn't been ported.

I wasn't talking about an extension. I was talking about Rich Text Format, which is a popular and widely used format for text editing programs that you would benefit much from incorporating.
