    Issues with SWF out of nowhere

    Well, I hardly post often, but this seems to warrant one,
    This MFA (Just a side project for a website i enjoy) seems to completely non function in SWF format,
    I am under the impression I'm not doing anything that isn't compatible,
    Items seem to not delete, as well as ignoring of certain actions, or looping others, and even executing some to soon,
    Really breaks it.

    Anyone have any idea's?

    Maybe it has to do with the "advanced direction object"? Since I don't have that, I wasn't even able to open the file and look at it, but that could have something to do with it. Are you sure that object works with SWF exporter?

    Unfortunately it did not work, Still have no idea why its not working.

    I am guessing something with the timer events.
    Perhaps the SWF has some problems with every 12/100 seconds and 35/100 seconds and causing things to stack/jam up.

    I don't have any concrete proof but from a quick observation if this was my game I would be looking into that area to see if I could get around the problem or identify the problem so it can get corrected.

    After removing all the timers, nothing changed, Still items won't delete, nor mouse movements seem to work correctly. Argh, this is a bit annoying.

    I finally had a look at the application. The project run exactly the same under MMF and Flash : there are moments when you cannot fire, and I dont understand why. But maybe this is part of the gameplay.
    So for me, the SWF runtime works fine, as it is identical.
    Have you found, since the initial post, the reason why you cannot shoot during certain moments?.
