    Transparency help

I recall having this issue a very long time ago, that appears to be back now. When I import a sequence of transparent files, only the first one have its transparency correct. The rest have a black background. Earlier today, I imported the very same files without any problem but now, Im stuck with this black background. Importing one by one works fine, but I have a lot of files to import and it will take forever

mariusf - Have you checked that each image uses the same RGB value for transparency (e.g. if trying to use black, make sure they all use RGB(0,0,0), some may be RGB(1,1,1) or RGB(0,1,1) and will not become transparent if you pick RGB(0,0,0) as your transparent colour)

If that doesn't help (and you've tried rebooting your PC as well - always worth a try!), then probably need more info:
What format are your files (eg .PNG, .TGA, etc)?
I assume by transparent files, you're not referring to alpha channels and you're trying to use a particular colour, eg black, to be transparent?
Do you specify a particular colour to be transparent using the eyedropper and clicking in your image or specify a particular colour from the colour picker?

My files "magically" worked now.. The only difference was the name of the files. In the start, they used flame0001, flame0002, flame0003 .. I did some changings to them, and renamed to flame01, flame02 etc with "shorter" numbers. Gonna check if this was it, or if I get a new issue later.

For now, I can say I was using PNG. The files Im importing are orginaly transparent and semi transparent with lots of glowy areas. I have done this a thousand times before, and I know it can be handled. Buuut again, gonna check back later with a conclusion.
