    MMF2DEV & Quicktime

hi! It is possible to create a game with MMF2DEV using quicktime? I want to have quicktime video with 3d renderings and at some parts have a still image with "objects" in quicklime that will animate (play per renedred animation) when clicked

For example: run a cinematic scene I will create in After Effects using 3d scenes (a spaceship corridor) then stop at some place where I will have objects rendered apart from the cinematic but with the same look and make a hidden object scene and be able to program the object to play, stop, get the frames where it was stopped, and decide or send a message to another object, example: on clicking a lamp (first frame =off) when clicked play frame 2-6 (lamp on) etc. Basically I want to know if I can program quicktime movies with alpha channel in an scene instead of a picture. Thank you for your response, I just want to know details before buying MMF2DEV.

You can use quicktime videos, but you can't make them in TGF2, MMF2 or MMF2DEV. You would have to use another program in order to make the quicktime video. What you are describing sounds possible, but you don't have to play specific frames of an object's animation in order to make it do that. Instead, you can use multiple animations in any one object. For example, you would have an "on" animation and an "off" animation for your lamp. I don't know whether or not the quicktime object in TGF2/MMF2/MMF2DEV supports alpha channels, so someone else would have to answer that part of the question, but what you want to do is possible with MMF2DEV from what I know.
