Extention error with exe

Hi when opening my application after it has been built as a stand alone exe i get an error message:

cannot load perspective.mfx. this object might need an external program or library
not yet installed.

my program uses the perspective extension. it works when running it from mmf2 but not as a stand alone.

also in the build options i have ticked the box marked: include external files.

how can i get my program to run as a stand alone?

Sounds like you may not have Perspective.mfx in your Multimedia Fusion 2/Data/Runtime directory. You need something in there for it to work in your .exe file (and something in Multimedia Fusion 2/Extensions to work inside MMF2)
Checking on my machine it is 15K in size, whilst the one in Multimedia Fusion 2/Extensions is 24K.

It could be that that extension requires one of the VC++ runtimes to be installed.

thanks for help, I've fixed the problem now. perspective.mfx is actually two different files both called perspective.mfx. one needs to be in runtime data and one in the extension folder, since i had to manually install it i put the files in the wrong folders so the game wouldn't build properly, since i swapped them around it works.
