IOS 6 and Facebook Link

i discovered a big problem with ios 6 and installed facebook app. if you have a link in your game to your facebook page it doesn't open the browser but the the pinwall of the facebook app. if the app isn't installed, the browser open correctly. this is a bug on ios 6. ios 5 works perfect.

You can fix this with another facebooklink.

for example:http://www.facebook.com/pages/"ÿourname"/"your FB ID"

in my case:http://www.facebook.com/pages/FutecV...30015690358735

so it does open safari with you page

Which url format causes trouble, I only know the one you describe (besides the short names you can choose after some time)?

Update:

if you use http://www.facebook.com/"YourID

the facebook app open your site. if fb app is not installed on the device, your side open on safari.

Yeah, it's due to iOS6 integrating Facebook into the OS, a Facebook URL opens in the app instead of the browser, just like a how link to an iTunes store page opens in the app instead. It's a feature, not a glitch. But like you say it seems you can work around it by using the long URL codes instead of names.

Sorry might be being a little silly here, but what method are we using to open a link in IOS? the webview object?

Secondly, how do we get the long facebook url if thats what we need to use?
