    Volume over frames problem.

    Hi,
I have spent several hours trawling through the posts in the forums trying to find a fix . It seems that it is a common problem, but I can't seem to find a solution. My background music volume drops dramatically every time a sample sound is played in a frame.
I have tried playing the background music on it's own channel with the volume set. I've gone through every frame and set the samples to play on their own channel . I have let mmf2 select the channels automatically. I have left everything blank. I have set only the main channel volume. Play sounds over frames is checked. The music is an mp3 file , I have even converted it to a wav file and tried that. The sound samples throughout the game are wav files. I have read the iOS5.pdf help file. Not sure what to try next?
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Cheers

Don't suppose anyone has found a solution? Now, also sometimes when I change frames the sound stops completely. I've even tried converting between wav and mp3 files without any luck. I'm ready to submit my app to apple but this problem prevents that.
    Cheers

Make sure your samples are lower in volume than your background music. Also make sure no samples are triggered on the same channel as the music.

Thanks SolarB... I've already tried both of those. Made no difference.

A sound can be either played with the AudioPlayer or OpenAL.
If you do not specify anything when entring the play action in the event editor, the sound is played with AudioPlayer if its length is bigger than 15 seconds. AudioPlayer is greate for background musics, and should be used for it.
There is no link between the volume of sounds played with AudioPlayer and sounds played with OpenAL.
So you should make sure you background musics has the "Play with AudioPlayer" checkbox set, in the new sample dialog box, and that your game sounds have not.
