Unable to run on iphone4 (possibly because the IOS is 5?)

I just got word from my publisher that when they try to run my app on their different test devices, they are not able to load past the MMF start up screen image. Once it tries to load the first frame, the app quits to the home screen. I haven't seen this on my ipad2, but I am using iOS6. Is there a setting I need to change that will make my app compatible with older devices and older iOS versions?
