Prevent the opening several times.

hello, I wonder if it is possible to create a function to prevent the software from being opened multiple times under Windows.

Here is an example.
my software is already open windows, I decided to open my software a second time, it checks if it is already open.

if not ... software opens

if yes ... software opens, but alerts the user that the software is already open now.

You could use the Process Viewer extension, that's good for testing that sort of stuff.

On Process

Compare two general values: pExeFile$( "Process Viewer" ) = Gamename.exe

then

Terminate Process (Process ID)

That way, it will terminate the process if another is already opened. Now for a better and more precise termination you'll want to check that more than one process of it is running.

You could just use Instance Communicator.
