I don't know what I'm doing though! If you saw my example, that doesn't look like a good even level!
I'm learning from you what to do...

You just have to store the previous height of the platform that was generated, and then for the next platform ensure it does not generate relatively too much higher. You also need to set bounds for them to generate within - it would make no sense if the platforms generated off the top or bottom of the screen. Try experimenting with the min and max functions, which return the lowest or highest of two values, respectively.

Hey LB, I figured out a way to do this, but I need to know, is there any way to identify Backdrops in the editor? Any way at all to set them as a group, or something?
If there is, then PLEASE let me know!!!!!!!!

Nope.

Oh... Crap.
Hmmm... Do you know any... No... Ummm...
I don't know... I hate to be rude, but this random generation thing is a little confusing without an example.
If you would, could you provide an example? I can edit it from there, but really, I'm sorry, I know how this is going to go...
Word by word is great, but I don't exactly have a base, and I'm certain what I'm doing is NOT the best way.
Just a quick .mfa will do me a WORLD of good!!!!
Please!

If you don't want to do that, that's fine!
Really it is, but answer me this: Is there a way to create multiple active from backdrops at a time?
All those backdrops, on the original level, before we started editing it all, can they be changed all at once to active using Create Active?
Please let me know!

All I need to know is this:
Can you make this example so that there can be multiple styles? (Look at the actives)

OK, I figured that out, but what about this:
The active backdrop smears all over the frame.
Take a look! It's perfectly fine, but when you run it, then the active backdrop just well... smears.

1. Don't try to create actives from the original backdrops - just use your own graphics
2. There's no quick way to covert all the original backdrops into actives, those original backdrops should not even exist at this point.
3. You can have multiple styles with different animation frames; just change the animation frame before you create a backdrop from the active.
4. Don't use the active backdrop object, it is not suitable for this.
I'll make an example in a bit - I've been catching up on sleep which is why I wasn't here to answer your every question.
