    MMF2, here's what I want for Xmas

    MMF2 IMAGE MOCKUP.jpg

would it be too hard to implement this on the next build of MMF2?

EDIT: can I edit the title? I meant "Clickteam", not "MMF2".

Great idea, and I would also include(I don't think it exists, I can't find it anyways) hotkeys for previous/next frame in the animation editor. Like in graphics gale, Q jumps to previous frame of the animation and S to the next. I've always loved that in GG, makes it easy to work and get a preview of the animation.
EDIT: Oh, and also a grid in the animation editor, nothing fancy, just a normal 1x1 grid that you can show/hide.

Or better yet, just focus on streamlining the process of importing graphics from external files. After all, why bother trying to reinvent the wheel when there are already a whole bunch of free graphics apps available which are far superior to MMF2's picture/animation editor?

    eg.
    * Fix the "animation mode options" in the import dialog, if they haven't been fixed already (I'm not on the latest build) - the "from frame" and "to frame" values can't be changed, and the other options don't have any effect.
    * Add some kind of one-click-update function to re-import frames from an external image file that has been modified.
    * Add some way to simultaneously import into multiple frames/directions/animations using box mode (eg. column=frame; row=direction).
    * Add the option to slice tiles from a tileset/spriteset image, using just tile dimensions and spacing, instead of always having to add the borders to make box-mode work.

The box-mode system is actually very powerful and useful - it just needs a little extra polish. That, and it needs to be made more prominent and well-documented - I don't think most users are even aware of its existence.

Where did you get that image? I have never released the source to my game, but that looks like you re-used a screenshot I took years ago.
Working as fast as I can on Fusion 3

I was at work when I did this mockup so I googled for "MMF2 animation editor" and this came up.

Keep dreaming - that's not going to happen until at least MMF3.
