I think it should support 2x4gb.
Look underneath, there should be a ram slot. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1352910567.255331.jpg

Yep, I have that EXACT problem, if I enable Direct3D, all of the scrolling content is shifted half of a screen to the right. If I disable Direct3D that issue disappears but then some of the games don't run quite as well. I am going to get myself another couple of RAM sticks to upgrade my iMac to 8GB as we said before :-) Apple want a crapload of money for their RAM so I'm going to see if I can find what type it is and buy elsewhere. My iMac has intel on board graphics but when the games work they work well.
Windows actually runs really nicely, but OSX gets slowed down by it running (even if I enable "faster mac", I'm pretty sure doubling my RAM will fix this, and keep me going until I get the new iMac sometime next year. :-)

I've always used crucial. There is a program on their website which look at your Mac and will tell you exactly what memory you will need. And there are usually loads of comments from happy customers.
And they're very reasonable cost. Apple wanted to charge me nearly £90 more.

I am running parallels on Mac, and its great.
I originally only had 4GB of ram in my iMac, and it just wasnt enough alot of the time (opening multiple programs though)... but its certainly great at 8GB. The only problem i have with MMF is when setting mouse zones, sometimes you can actually move objects/insert objects while moving a zone.
Ps using Windows 7 right now.

I'm still using my laptop until I get the RAM, but after that I'll be grabbing a full copy of Windows 8 and setting this all up. I do hope they sort the D3D issue out though.
Don't forget to report it through their official support function! :-)

I agree with AndyH, use Crucial for ordering memory (haven't done it for mac but used them a couple of times for PC and had no problems)

Any news on the Direct3D issues? I don't really want to go out and fork out for this RAM unless I know it can run smoothly without me having to disable D3D and lose performance.
