Getting Speed in the X Direction from Clickteam Movement Controller

    Hey all,

I'm trying to make it so the ball character in my game rolls when hes on a platform. The character moves using vector movement. I made it so that he rolls at a rate proportional to his speed in the X Direction, but when I try to retrieve the Speed in the X direction from the click team movement controller it says I have an invalid expression. Can I get some help on how to fix this?

To add, there's a section in the expression that says >Fixed Value<. Is there something I need to put in there?

    My expression looks like this.

Angle( "Player" )+(VEC_SpeedX( "Clickteam Movement Controller", >Fixed Value<)/200)

What I don't know is what to replace >Fixed Value< with so that I'm getting the speed in the X-Direction of my Character.

You need to replace 'Fixed Value' with the Fixed Value of the selected Active you're trying to extract the expression from...

Every time you create an active it is assigned a fixed value, by setting this in the expression CT's movement object will know which object to refer to.
