    Video files getting squashed

I tried to insert an mpeg2 file into my game but for some reason the video gets squashed sideways leaving a black bar down either side. I used the Direct Show object to display it which seems to play .mpg and .avi files fine. However, I cannot get a good enough quality video with these formats. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

    Re: Video files getting squashed

You'll probably find a setting in your MPEG2 decoder that corrects the aspect ratio or your video card mpeg drivers may be set at a different ratio.
