Strange bug with ControlX

Simple but strange: the ControlX doesn't work until I press ALT + TAB and select the game window again.

I think the window is not "active" when I start the game, but it is after I ALT + TAB it.

I can't post example so I hope someone knows what's going on...

Well when I want to change some button with ControlX I click Change button and then it autom. minimizes the window and restores it. It works, but always when I want to change the button, I must do this again.

And it's not very good way to do it anyway.
