[bug] A strange error: core MMF2 or INI++?

I found a strange error, but I did not understand if it is an error of MMF2 core or an ini++ error.
Two codes, apparently identical, but one of them crash the system.

    Crashes for me too... R248

My research shows that the "Set alterable string to ''a''", on line 8 (Loop "test2") causes the crash. Also, it doesn't matter what action you got on that line. Probably a loop bug?

I tried on official version R247
I also believe that this is a problem in the loop management, and then a problem inside the core of MMF2.
I struggled to locate the problem, because they do not always show in apparently identical situations.

But if I change the value of the string on line 8 (Loop "test2")
"Set alterable string to ''a''", --> "Set alterable string to ''b''",
    then there is no problem.

Very odd... I ran it with the debug version of MMF2 and I couldn't see if the problem is in the runtime or in the Ini++ object. I'll send this application to Francois when he's back in a week.

    Just noticed this thread!

I hope it is MMF because I have no idea what might be causing this one...

Still no answer? I'm keeping an eye on this thread too, as the bug is one of most unexpected I've seen

Re: [bug] A strange error: core MMF2 or INI++?

There was a horrible bug in testing. It turns out to have nothing to do with me, but I had to take apart most of the object to be sure! But small bugs can come out in weird ways.

Anyway, I've done some looking and if you duplicate the events any number or times, or rearrange them, it is the last set which crash, always.

I'll debug it properly sometime soon but it is looking like it is my fault. Although I can't guess what sort of error it is that it only crashes when it is the last...

...Okay. Tried the debugger on it now. It didn't give me any quick answers. The crash isn't in my object but that isn't to say its not my fault.

I'll have to debug it more carefully sometime but I'm afraid right now I've got to work on my mathematics, because I seem to be failing to solve a problem...
