    Rotating objects around a point

    Anyone know where I've gone wrong? It rotates around a point properly. The problem is that point is always 0,0 of the frame, regardless of where I set the RelativeX and RelativeY variables.

    EDIT: Oh yeah, can anyone tell me what formula I need to change the object's angle too? Cheers

    Thanks guys, that's a big help. And merry christmas to you, too :grin:

    One last quick question. How do I get the angle to set relative to it's starting angle? Rather than now the angle is absolute - the objects will always be at the angle regarding to their position from the origin point. Which makes creating something like a 'room' impossible, as all the blocks go skewed.
    ...I'm not explaining this very well, huh? Here's a quick photoshop of what I want it to do:



    Is this possible with the current system? Or am I going to have to do something entirely different?

    you get small gaps between objects - this is due to the way MMF rotates images, so it's unavoidable.

    Odd, works fine for me... using build 248 on Vista Ultimate. I'll reupload it. I've altered it just a little since I first downloaded it, but all the core code is still there
