Opening Files with a level editor

The subject may not have been specific but what I want is when the user double clicks on a file in windows explorer or drags a file of the right format over a level editor, the level editor should be able to load it. Is that clear enough? Can you tell me if its possible? Thanks.

Re: Opening Files with a level editor

I think I saw a condition that makes dragging the file into the application a piece of cake. I could be completely wrong though, so don't quote me on this.

I do know however, that you can use YASO if I'm not mistaken, to create application associations with extensions so that they open up your application when you open up the file. It's up to you however to set the application up so it knows to jump straight to the editor and then load the file that was responsible for opening it.

I was able to do it once, maybe someone else could assist from here?
