    Resizing messed up my sprite!

Hey, I made an active object in the frame, then I made it a bit bigger using the diagonal controller with resizing. I closed the project, not knowing what I've done. I opened the project a day later, and the pixels on my sprite were not symmetrical, let alone how I drew them. It's supposed to be a symmetrical sprite. The legs are all distorted, along with the rest of the body (sprite)...Does anyone know what I'm talking about? How do I fix this?

Well you resized it at different proportions. If you saved the project and you never made backups, then you will need to redo the sprite again.
If you want it to be proportionate you need to make sure you increase the width and height size by the same ammount.
This is one of the many reasons you should always back up.

You pretty much nailed it yourself, you messed up, and if you don't have a backup, it can't be fixed. Take this as a lesson. Don't blindly increase something's size.

It's worth mentioning that if you have one of the latest versions (I think it started in 248), autobackup will be on by default and you should have a list of .001, .002, etc. files in the folder with your MFA - they're the last few saved copies. You can open them and see if the original sprite is in one of those.

If you want to resize a sprite, why not use MS Paint's resizing functions (CTRL and - or + on the number pad)?

You'd have to do it to each frame, of course

Doesn't resizing in the frame editor automatically antialias (or alias or whichever one blurs it, I can never remember) the sprite? Just checking. Is there an option to turn that off?
