    Convert from Standard to HWA

I've been working on my app in Standard and have finally prepared it for HWA (replacing SubApp objects with HWA friendly full-screen pausing) now that HWA is stable.

I've noticed currently that DX9 uses more memory than Standard (Standard = 86, DX9 = 126); do I need to reimport frames of animations, in active objects to make it more "HWA friendly"?
I think I read somewhere here someone mentioning this needs to be done. Can't track the thread down though.

Could there be any other reason that a hardware version uses more memory? I noticed they both use the same amount of cpu as well; I thought the video card would take some of the burden away from the cpu.

Images are duplicated in system memory and in video memory, so yes HWA takes more memory.
