wierd thing about sounds while running app

It's really giving me headache now. The problem is that I have 3 objects in my frame and they are all invisible. after clicking on an index button all those three objects will be visible. Mouse over each of those three buttons will generate a different sound effect and it happens only when they are visible(index button been clicked). So far everything was fine untill I decided to change the sound effects or samples to something different so I went to event editor and without touching anything else, I just changed the sample sound. But now. whenever the mouse button is over those 3 objects, even if they are invisible will generates sound which shouldn't be like this caz I didn't change anything but the sample sound to be played. and guess what... while the mouse pointer is over those invisible objects, I can hear those previous sounds which is really wierd. when I click on the index button and after making objects visible I can hear the new sounds. Why before I click on index button and while those objects are invisible I get those old already changed sounds? Isn't this a bug inside of MMF2? Is it related to date elements area caz I can see all those changed sounds are still there? Please someone help.

I had something similar that bothered me. I was making a game where you could pick up different instruments, and it would build on the background song that was playing. The weird thing was, no matter what I did, one of the instrument sounds would always start playing at the start of the frame, even when I had removed all actions that related to that sound :P I figured it was a bug. I never found a fix for it though

Yes Yikes, same about my situation there is no code or event saying that this sound should be played but it will be playing which is really pain in somewhere. kill yourself, delete everything in event editor, you will still get the sound playing. I have doubt that maybe it happens when you apply a sound to your application say using this condition: user clicks with left button on active1 and then you want to change the sound sample so you click on that sound checkmark inside of event editor and right click on it and then edit and from there choose another sound file already in your list or brows for new file. at least that's what i did which i still could not find any solution. guess this problem should be considered as a bug, a really pain in somewhere one.

Well, I removed the play sample actions from the event editor AND from behaviours, saved & closed & reopened the mfa and voilá, they were gone from Data Elements.

Btw, you need to save, close and reopen so MMF removes all the unused samples from Data Elements, otherwise if you remove something temporarily, save and then try readding it, you're going to have to find it again, which would be a pain.
