Transparency with the MMF2 Button Problem

Hey all,

The button that I've created which is just a picture of a transparent green arrow is not transparent whenever I run the application. Just looking at the frame without running it and at the image itself, it seems to be working perfectly and is transparent, but when I run the frame black fillls in the transparent areas. How do I fix this?

amaire13 - could you post the MFA for us to see?

I was going to suggest the same thing. I believe it has to do with your transparent colors or alpha channel used.

I'd prefer not since this is a bit of a private project. I'll describe more of what I've found out about the problem.

If I turn to standard display from dirext x 8 in display options, the arrow becomes transparent but the background around it seems doesn't update with the new background until it's been clicked. I can post a video of it if you guys would like.

Sure a video is cool. Can you not isolate this issue into a blank separate MFA file? Then we don't need to see your original MFA...

Not sure who I can isolate it since if I try and do the exact same thing in a new MMF2 project it works perfectly haha. I'll make a video right now.

amaire13 - if it works in a new MMF2 project, then perhaps you could copy and paste all your frames to a new MMF2 project as a workaround? If that works, I'm sure ClickTeam would still be interested in your original project to track down why the problem occurred int he first place.
