    Doodle Jump style?

I'm about to jump into my first iOS game and thought I'd go for a doodle jump style.

Can anyone point me to their version or any doodle jump type game done with MMF for iOS?

    Thanks.

Basically a never ending scrolling game.
I can't think of any example off hand that show exactly that but its really not the complex.

I saw give it a try and when you get stuck I am sure the forums can help you out.

    Right, a never ending scroller.

But would like to see what people have done, (which would allow me to (possibly) ask them questions.

This is my first game (or anything for that matter) with MMF since my programming days in the 80s.

I couldn't find one over there.

I know I got an endless ball roller game I once made.
It was never finished and not really very fun but if I can find it I will update the post.

The trick to Doodle jump beyond generating random platforms, is to move your character on the X only, and move the platforms themselves vertically. So when you jump it's the platforms that actually move. At least that is how I am doing it.

@DTownTony Thanks. I just happened to be looking there shortly after posting. (I'm one that doesn't mind getting my hands dirty.)

    @Jeff thanks, appreciated

@Kisguri So you are working on one? Cool and I think you're right. I've looked at various "jumpers", and I'm going to note any variations... Basically, detailed research

Here is a moldy old endless scrolling game I was once playing around with when we were testing Java Web Start and Java Applet.
It might help you come up with some ideas about endless scrolling.

Warning no comments - wasn't ever meant as an example just playing around testing things

    Thanks I appreciate it.

Comments would help... I comment the "snot" out of even basic stuff nowadays since I ;earned from way back in the day when I didn't much.... 'cause man if you ever go back and either want to grab something for another project or you want to update it.... But I get what you're saying.
