Post MMF2 Help File (CHM) How Old ... Use?

Ok, so i'm delving into the help file (CHM).

It looks like it has some old stuff in there... I'm curious, When has it been last updated?

I'm looking to convert it to PDF so I can have it as a reference manual and lay it out how I want.

My main focus is for mobile games, starting out with (of course) iPhone/iPad.

I'm so used to the 1980s where there were books available for consumption on commands/functions... Is this all MMF2 has I guess, a CHM file (which may be outdated, sorta)?

    * It would be nice if there was a "Related to Mobile" only version. I don't want to learn about the CDPlayer, etc. stuff that mobile developers won't be using. (See I'm being digital again, 1 or 0.)

If (this is for mobile) = 0
    Toss it in the trash
    EndIf

    Thanks.

Update: Clarification... I will use it as it seems there are good basics, but don't want to learn deprecated stuff.

Tell me it's not so... !

Ok, so I'm looking at the help file, I come across:

The Objects > Inventory > iOS Objects > iOS Object > Description

"The iOS object is a placeholder for extra functions on the iOS device."

    -----

How am I supposed to have a reference to study and refer to when the documentation is not updated?

I'm so close to purchasing MMFDev, but if my only real reference is to spend hours of tinkering and/or pestering board members... ack!

    What do you guys do?

I'm not scared of learning or "coding", but I am at least to having better reference material.

    What is one to do?

*** I'm not looking to use MMF casually, that is why I am dazed, confused and frustrated. ???

That must be the help file from the demo?
Did you look in the iOS forum here? I believe the help files are also out as PDF on the webpage and forum
So you can check it out there.

While a help file is pretty handy .. for the most part MMF is so straight forward once you know whats going on all you have to do is check out an example file on the objects useage if you can't figure it out just by looking at it.

Jeff, Yes it is from the demo. (Which I assumed would be up to date, as the demo is a part sales tool.)

    iOS was just one example.

Help file as PDFs... not that I have found yet.

I agree that there are straight forward parts, but there are some things that are not. I want to educate myself and have reference material at hand so that I can "drink it all up", as I did back in the 80s for the ATARI 800 (okay don't laugh), but I knew how to program that thing back and forth, forth and back... -- Back then I had code reference books, many magazines to learn from (and not really any community like this).

Most of all Jeff, thanks for responding. I'm gonna have to figure something out as I mentioned, this is not going to be a "casual" endeavor for me.
