Ladder Problem

Hi,
I am having a hard time figuring this out using the Platform Movement object. I have a character that I want to climb a ladder. They should be able to climb through the platform above and then stand on the platform once on top of it. Currently, if I set a backdrop to ladder, it makes it so that the character always falls through the platform wherever the ladder is. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks,

Well, the character's hotspot may not be overlapping the ladder.
Change the hotspot to be directly above the character, and it should work.

First of all, how are you getting the character to stay on the platform?

In order to make the player stay on the platforms I have them defined as either obstacles or platforms (they are backdrop objects). Please let me know if you think of anything. Thanks,
