    Question Accessing Photos?

    Hi Folks.

Just a quick question... Is it possible to access the photos on an iPhone/iPad from an iOS App? I want to create an App that scrolls through the photos on the device, displaying them one at a time, but I don't instantly see a way to access them from within MMF. Any thoughts...

    Hi Paul,
I don't think it's possible at the moment - would probably need an extension. You can let the user choose a photo by using Load file with selector on an Active Picture Object, but that's about it AFAIK.

Thanks. Shame as I had a lovely idea for a photo App but perhaps I'll take the concept in a new direction.

Paul - you might be able to do something by allowing the player to take photos within your app, but saving the results yourself (using the Screen Capture Object which I did an iOS version for) Then you know the filenames to load again later. Of course it would only work for photos that were taken in your app, which might not be ideal. NB If you do try this, you'll need to tweak the Screen Capture object in XCode for iOS 6 and up (captures a black screen currently)

Thanks again. I've taken the App in question in a new direction so while it would have been nice to access the images on the device, I can proceed without doing so. Appreciate the feedback though.
