Great price but be careful that the glass isn't pressed against the screen too much as it might not be broken but if you press lightly on the glass it may make the screen do the rainbow...I got an iPod touch 4g that was like this as it is very common because the 4gs have very little space in between the glass and the screen to begin with as compared to the iPhones

Well, it seems that the one that I was going to purchases was a scam. It was taken off CL, but I found another one for $300. It's a 3rd gen 32gb. How would I know if it's a 3rd generation from a 1st generation and so forth. What's the difference and is it marked somehow.

Also, we are planing on porting a game to iOS. Since I don't have a mac, but my partner does, will I be able to test the game on an ipad if he sends it to me. How does that all work?

It should have a model number on the back of the iPad. Google the model number and you'll find the exact model it is.

Are they good and will I be able to test iOS games on it and download and play other iOS games from the Apple Store on it? I just don't want to spend the money on a 1st generation ipad if I can't use it.

John. You will be ok testing and running the games. Are they any any good is a matter of opinion I'm afraid.

They scam because it's easy... later generation iPads are in demand and when they put them up for crazy good prices, people fall for it.

The old saying "it's too good to be true" comes to mind.

Thanks Marv, yeah that's really the only reason why I want to get one. Just for testing and playing some iOS games from the apple store.
