    Normaly when you compile your app with MMF2, it automaticaly create a 7.0 app. So normaly you have nothing to do. Only people who update their app to 7.1 has this bug. So if you never updated it i don't understand... But you can check your app version by clicking on the name of your game in VS, just under - Solution 'your game' (2 projects) - then in the property window you will see the OS version.

    Or maybe you use Win 8? And it only allow you to make 7.1 apps?

    Hi Dobermann, I get the same freezing issues mentioned. To note I am running Windows 8 however when I log into the Windows Phone Dev Center the only sdk's available to download are: sdk8, sdk7.8 and sdk7.1 no mention of the sdk 7.

    after some web searching found this article to run sdk 7 on windows 8 (is not supported): http://blog.saraf.me/2012/09/install...windows-8.html

    EDIT: the above link refers to the 7.1 SDK also, anyone have a working link to the 7.0 SDK if its the only way the XNA plugin works?

    So here you have the reason of the problem! Sorry!

    The upgrade of the XNA module to the 7.1 SDK is really urgent then!

    hypothetical question: if i sent my MFA to you, dobermann, could you compile the app to 7.0 or whatever works properly on windows phone?

    i am down in the dumps over wasting my limited money on a nokia lumia and the xna exporter. it just sits useless. i am going to sell the phone back on ebay for a loss soon.

    Yes, no problem.

    But you don't need to sent me the MFA, just PM me the VS project compiled by MMF2 with the options you need in VS (release mode, needs to add the line for online support, needs to delete the lines of user and location id if you do not use those services, activation of the line in your fonts to replace the non-supported characters, etc...)
