MultiLine Edit box, hit ENTER and cursor disappears along with focus

I'm completely stumped. I have an app I've been working on where I have an Edit Box, set to Multiline, and I used to be able to type inside of it and hit enter, and it would move down a line and still have the cursor. This is no longer working for me.

If i start a new app, the multiline edit box works as desired. If i go back to my app, and put in a diffent multiline edit box, it still seems to lose focus and the cursor disappears.

I tried putting in a check to see if enter was pressed and to reassign focus, but no matter what i do, i can't get this to work in my current app, but it functions just fine in a new app.

Does anyone know what might be causing this? I did save as an iOS project and have switched back to windows, but i have tried that with a new app, and i cant get this behavior to replicate.

I haven't tried that, but rather have started recoding a new project. 50 events, but it needed some cleanup, and I was at a point of diminishing troubleshooting returns.

rubes. I also have the exact same problem, my project is new, without any events at all.

Sorry Earl, I don't have any insights. My recoding didn't work as well as i thought, and i ended up rolling back to a previously saved version, where this is working. I see you are an iOS user as well. I know during the process, i would switch to iOS then to EXE, and I'm not sure if that caused the issue or what. I'm curious to see if you did something similiar. On a related note, if you start a new project, does it work as desired? Mine does

This issue reappeared for me, but I figured out the fix. My app also had an iOS single Line Edit Box, when I delete this iOS object, the normal multiline edit box works as desired
