Global Moogame(or sock or click) Object

Whenever you create a Moogame object, connect and such, then transition to the next frame with a Moogame object, does all the connections and stuff transfer? I did some testing and it looks like not. How do you go to the next frame and still maintain the existing connection between a Moo object? (Please don't tell me to use Lacewing)

You shouldn't use MooGame, you should use Lacewing. As for the question, I don't know, but I do know that Lacewing has a setting where it does in fact transfer connections "and stuff" (the channel you are connected to, name, etc.) from frame to frame. If you end up having a hard time learning Lacewing, then you should look at this video tutorial series.

Yes use Lacewing, and also it's as simple as setting the object to Global in it's properties. (Lacewing, not Moo)

I wonder why everyone here has some sort of Lacewing obsession.

People have a tendency to recommend the better alternative, and Lacewing is better in pretty much every possible way.

To expand on this, I can list several ways that Lacewing is better:

    1. You can send binary data in Lacewing (I don't remember being able to do that in any of the Moo objects).

    2. You can check a checkbox to make it global (and I don't think you can do that in Moo, can you?).

3.. Lacewing is still supported by the person who made it, the Moo series of objects are not.

    4. Lacewing is compatible with flash, Moo is not.
