    Nivrams falling sand example

I found the falling sand example on Nivram's page, ( http://www.castles-of-britain.com/fa...andexample.mfa - direct download link )
and thought I wanted to do something with it.

Unfortunately, over time this seems to kill the framerate.

Does anyone have an idea of how to solve this?

    Thanks in advance.

Try it in HWA mode and see if that helps.

Take line 5 and delete the 2 action and insert "Always" instead. I ran it for 20 minutes and the frame rate stayed at 50. The most sand that's on the screen is between 150 and 185 or so at all times. What is happening on your end? Seems to be running fine on my end. Also change the object count in that frame to 2000 if you're planning on adding objects to it. Really nice example Marv! Thanks for posting it! Be great for snow fall

Thanks John, but the example was not made by me. Chris Branch made the example, so credit should be given to him. Also, thanks for the extra info.
