Hi,
I am noticing that the date and time object is not visible in Flash. Is this a bug? I am using the object as a countdown in a game. It is visible in the exe version but not in the Flash version. Any ideas? Thanks,
Brett

I think it's compatible with flash, as I remember using it. It doesn't seem to work properly in scrolling games, however, though that may have been fixed since the last time I used it.

Hi,
I checked and the Date and Time object is available and Flash compatible. For some reason it does not appear on the screen. I made sure that it was not displaying as background so it should be visible in front of backdrop objects (but it isn't). Any other ideas? Thanks,
Brett
I'm not having any issues displaying it in flash. Is it being used in a scrolling game? If so you'll need to tick "follow frame" in it's runtime options. In my game I had to do that anyway because it starts from the opposite end, not at 0.

Hi Klik-iT,
It is being used in a scrolling game but if I check "follow the frame" then the object moves around but I'd like it to remain stationary within the frame (at the bottom center). When I look on the game, the object appears for a fraction of a second but then it disappears. I remember the Active System Box had a similar bug in Flash games. Is this the same? Thanks,
Brett
Bret, like I said. I'm not having any issue displaying the object. Is your MMF up to date? Are you using layers? Is there anyway you can upload your mfa here or PM me with a link to your project, so I can take a look at it?
I noticed this happening with bar counters being semitransparent in flash apps. If you use the always set semitrans to semitrans at 0 they aren't semitransparent. With that said, there is a setting for the clock object to show it. I say try to use "Always", "Show" and see if that works.

Are you droppiçng it in the top-left corner of the frame? For objects that are scrolling-independant, the coordinate should be within the screen size, on the top left of the frame (within the zone marked by a thin hashed line)
