Platform Movement Object - Invert Gravity : not "Standing on Ground"?

When I invert the gravity or apply a negative additional Y velocity, once the player reaches an obstacle and stops he does not revert to "Standing on Ground." How would I go about changing the gravity to face the ceiling while also allowing my animations with the condition "Standing on Ground" to work?

    Thanks

From what I know, the PMO is unfortunately not designed to handle the roof the same way as the ground.

You may want to build your own platform movement. Here and here are some examples. Also, if you just want to look at the foundation for a suitable vector movement that can be extended to handle platforming, study this example as much as you can. It may take some time figuring out exactly how that example works, but once you understand it, it'll be easy creating your own custom movements.
