Paste rotating active object into background

    Hi fellows!

Is it possible to paste into background a rotated object?

I'm trying to paste a square (not an obstacle or any other stuff) but it only paste the image in angle 0.

    Always add 1 to ("Counter")
    Set angle ("Active") to ("Counter")

User clicks with left button -=> Paste ("Active") into backdrop (not an obstacle) (I tried Paste into background with no success, too)

    Thanks!

If I remember right, this was brought up some time ago without resolution, but Clickteam is aware.

Ive had this problem as well.
The way i solved it was to not past the Object but rather make it stay in the Frame staticly.

You could for example make an 360 degree rotated animation, and use the animation Frames as the Angles instead.
This way you are able to past a rotated Object into the Background, at the cost of alot of animation frames off cource.
Note that doing it this way will make it quite hard to have the Object be animated, as you use the animations as Angles.

Thanks, Marv! Nice to know that Clickteam is aware of this issue.

King_Cool, I thought about leaving the object stopped and spawn another instance of the same object.
I asked about the Past into background because it's an interesting issue and if it worked properly could save a lot of memory on a heavy application with lots of objects.

Spawning another instance of the same object overcomes the 360 degrees animated object by far. ^^

Again, thanks for you both for the infos!!!
