Running 640x960 (portrait) screen on 1366x768 PC screen

Trying to create a portrait orientation universal app, and struggling to get it to display in MMF2 on my PC screen without squashing.

I've tried various combinations of Application properties:
    Resize to fit
    Change Resolution Mode
    Keep Screen ratio
    Screen ratio tolerance (0-100%)
Display Mode: Direct3D 9 or Standard

But I can't seem to keep the aspect ratio, it either squashes vertically or stretches horizontally to fit.
I'm going to be doing some scaling of objects and want to make sure I'm not distorting them before testing on iOS device
Anybody managed to get this to work?

paobrasil - Thanks, but I'd already tried with that widget. It's not ideal, eg static actives at the bottom of the screen won't display unless set Inactive if too far from frame to No, also Testing if actives are inside the frame edges results in restricting them to top left half of window. There may be more issues, but these are enough to make me cautious about using it, especially as I'll be adjusting objects for universal app. See attached mfa.

Is there not a simpler way with just the Application Properties?

The iOS simulators which come with Xcode can be resized.

It's really not. The majority of current monitors are the 16:9 ratio, which would put HD resolutions at 1920x1080.

I relented and bought a 27" iMac (2560x1400). I run Parallels w/Windows 8 and develop MMF2 on the Mac as well. So far no real issues and I have the res I need along with the smooth workflow from MMF2->XCode.

DaveC - My PC is a laptop, so 1366x768 is the highest it will go. I also have a MacBook, but that only does 1280x800, so also not a choice.
I don't mind it running at half the resolution (eg 320x480), I just don't want it squashed/stretched as it tends to do (I've managed to get 480x768 or 1366x768)
Guess it's just not possible with my current hardware!
